Almonds are a great crunchy snack that is a good source of plant protein, fiber, vitamins and minerals.

One ounce of almonds (about 20-24 pieces) has 6 grams of protein, 6 grams of carbs (including 3 grams of fiber), and 13 grams of unsaturated fat.

Almonds are an excellent source of magnesium which is a mineral in our body with many responsibilities including: glusoce control, energy production and metabolism and blood pressure management to name a few!

Almonds are also a great source of Vitamin E- an antioxidant and manganese- important in bone health, metabolism and antioxidant production.
