Turnip For What!?

Turnips is a fall season root vegetable that are a less starchy alternative to the potato.
The stems of the turnips are edible as well ("turnip greens "). Turnips are low calorie and a good source of Vitamin C, B Vitamins, and fiber.
Cooking methods of turnips include: roasting until soft and golden, added into stews or soups, or mashed (just like potatoes).
